We currently offer K-tip and weft extensions. We continuously educate ourselves on the latest trends and certifications to provide the best options for our clients.
What's the difference between Weft extensions and K-tips?
K-tips are keratin bond extensions cut to match your hair density and bonded in small sections. Wefts are sewn in rows using silicone beads.
I don't know which type of extension to get. Can you help me decide?
Yes, we will help you decide during your consultation appointment to determine what is best for your hair and lifestyle.
What's the difference between lived-in color and balayage?
Lived-in color is a blended technique requiring time and skill, allowing more time between appointments. Balayage is an open-air technique where lightener is painted on the ends and fanned up to the mid-lengths.
How long do hair extensions last?
K-tips last 3-5 months without needing move-ups. Wefts require a move-up every 5-7 weeks and can last up to a year with proper care.

Hi, I’m Kat, the heart behind Kat Pro Studio! 🫶🏼 With 15 years of experience as a professional hair artist, my journey in the beauty industry started with a pair of Hello Kitty scissors and some very stylish stuffed animals. Even as a kid, I loved creating unique looks that made them—and me—stand out.
Born with a port wine stain birthmark covering half my face, I faced Sturge-Weber syndrome, glaucoma, and countless surgeries growing up. These experiences taught me a powerful lesson: true beauty shines when you embrace your authentic self! 🖤
High school is where my love for hair and makeup blossomed, helping me express myself and sometimes hide parts of me I wasn’t ready to share. After graduating from the Aveda Institute of Denver, I navigated a challenging path, including emergency eye surgery and early career detours, but I never lost sight of my dream.
From working at MAC Cosmetics to running a home salon to eventually opening my own studio, every step led me to where I am today. With the love and encouragement of my husband, I found the confidence to build something bigger—a space that radiates kindness, empowerment, and authenticity.
